The background of our spices comes from Miss Klose Smokery & BBQ, established in 2013. The pioneers of Finnish BBQ have been selling BBQ meat and dishes seasoned with them for ten years at dozens of major events across Finland. So, all our products are tested in professional kitchens and proven to be popular by thousands of Finnish BBQ customers!
The now available larger container size makes it easier to prepare even larger quantities of food, while being easy to use. Our rubs are at their best with products cooked over an open flame and smoke. With our easy tips, seasoning will be a breeze even for an inexperienced kitchen magician.

Miss Klose Sweet & Smoky
Spice blend FS 670 g
“Sweet & smoky seasoning blend”
Miss Klose Sweet & Smoky is a balanced, sweet and smoky seasoning blend that adds a touch of America to any dish. It was originally developed as an excellent pairing for pork ribs.
Use approximately 30 g of the seasoning blend per kilogram of the product to be seasoned. Rub onto the surface before cooking.
Ideal for: Ribs, regardless of style. Also excellent for pulled pork or any grilled or smoked pork dish.
Also try: As a surface seasoning for grilled chicken or even grilled chicken breast fillet. Also works well as a surface seasoning for hamburgers and even wings.
Ingredients: Mountain salt granules, cane sugar, smoked paprika, garlic, onion, coriander, basil, mustard. Gluten-free, lactose-free, and vegan. Does not contain artificial flavor enhancers.
Miss Klose Bold & Peppery

“Robustly peppery seasoning blend.”
Our spicy pepper seasoning blend contains cumin, which cuts through the stronger and fattier flavors, of especially beef. Rub the seasoning onto the surface of the meat and let it sizzle!
Use approximately 30 g of the seasoning blend per kilogram of the product to be seasoned. Rub onto the surface before cooking.
Ideal for: Tasty cuts of beef, such as maminha (tri-tip), flank steak, flatiron, hanger steak, and picanha.
Also try: As a seasoning for hamburgers or other ground meat dishes.

Miss Klose Jerk Rub

“Warm Jamaican seasoning blend.”
Jerk seasoning blend gets its name from the Jamaican grilling style. The Jerk seasoning blend contains ingredients that are not commonly used in Finnish kitchens, making it particularly convenient as a ready-made, precisely measured seasoning blend. This lush and even floral seasoning blend contains tantalizing chili flavors without being overly spicy.
Use approximately 30 g of the seasoning blend per kilogram of the product to be seasoned. Rub onto the surface before cooking.
Ideal for: Directly grilled chicken, such as roasted thighs. Moisten with a dash of lime juice and rub the seasoning onto the surface before cooking.
Also try: Jerk-seasoned wings and ribs stand out from the crowd and are a true flavor surprise! Jerk is also an excellent and unexpected pairing for sweet root vegetables such as carrots or sweet potatoes.

Miss Klose Chimichurri

“Herbaceous Argentinian seasoning blend.”
Our chimichurri takes inspiration from – of course – the Argentine classic, but did you know that chimichurri is versatile beyond just being a companion to beef? Chimichurri can be used as a sauce when mixed with oil and lemon or lime juice or vinegar, but also as a herbaceous and refreshing seasoning rub for meat or vegetables.
Use approximately 10 g of the seasoning blend per kilogram of the product to be seasoned. Rub onto the surface before cooking or make chimichurri sauce: Mix 10 g of seasoning, 1 dl of olive oil, and 30-45 ml of lemon or lime juice and let it infuse for 30 minutes.
Ideal for: Herbaceous sauce for grilled delicacies, such as Miss Klose Bold & Peppery seasoned beef picanha and side vegetables.
Also try: Rubbed onto grilled or lightly smoked chicken as a surface seasoning or sauce.

Why do our products carry the Finnish Key Flag (Avainlippu) even though the spices are imported?
Because the Key Flag signifies Finnish work and manufacturing. We have been granted the right to use the Key Flag emblem on our products because they meet the main criteria of the Key Flag. Even though the spices are imported, our products are manufactured and packaged in Finland, which means they create jobs and increase employment in Finland. The requirement for domestic content is at least 50%, and our products meet this criterion.
